Jollygood XMAS is a simple game, yet there are a lot of ways to play it. It's quite an easy game to play - organize the gifts to groups of three or more, and keep the level clear. Or you can make a stack of all different gifts and use the occasional gift box to clear all those. However, this is just the core gameplay - if you're interested in mastering the game and getting a really good score you need to know how the scoring works.

Each time you remove gifts either by placing three or more in a row or by using the gift packet, you will receive points. For every set of removed presents you will get 10 points for the first gift, and twice as many points for each subsequent gift. This means that getting as many gifts removed at once is the most important goal, if you're aiming for a top score!

Since the gifts are removed when there are three in a row, you need to be careful on how you organize them. It is possible to organize the blocks in such way that you remove a lot of gifts at a time, even more than 10! And when you keep in mind that each gift more will double the gain, you'll see how this really makes a big difference in the quest for the high score! Another interesting but more difficult feature is that if you manage to get a combo where you remove multiple sets of gifts in one turn, each set will have multiplies to the score normally received from it (the second set nets 2x score, the third 3x and so on...)

Remember also that you get an increasing bonus for each cleared level, so in addition to getting a lot of points from removing large amounts of gifts, so it still is important to keep giving the desired gifts to the kids and keep the table clean especially in the later levels, where the pace is more rapid!
